The Bat Who Navigated by Starlight

Benny was not your average bat. While his brothers zipped through the night using echoes, Benny got distracted.
“Ping, pong, bonk!” he cried, bumping into branches.

The other bats sighed. “Why can’t you just listen for echoes, Benny?”
But Benny had his own secret. Instead of listening for sounds, he followed the twinkling stars above.

“They’re like road signs in the sky!” he explained, flapping happily.

Starlight Silly Adventures

Benny’s starlight navigation worked most of the time.

One night, he mistook Orion’s Belt for a row of shiny berries and flew straight into Mrs. Owl’s laundry line. Splat! “Who hung socks in the sky?” he groaned.

Another time, he followed the Big Dipper and landed right in a raccoon’s snack basket. “Excuse me, sir,” said the raccoon, licking jam off his paws. “This is my midnight picnic.”

The forest animals chuckled at Benny’s goofy detours. “At least he keeps the night interesting!” giggled the rabbits.

Trouble in the Dark

One moonless night, the forest was pitch-black. Even the best echo-finders were confused.
“I can’t see where I’m going!” squeaked a young bat.
“I lost my cave!” cried a squirrel.

Panic spread. The animals huddled, not knowing which way to go.

Then Benny looked up. The stars twinkled faintly, just enough to map the way. “Follow me!” he called. “I know the path by starlight.”

A Starry Rescue

Benny led the way, zigzagging toward the glittering North Star. The frightened bats fluttered behind him, while squirrels and owls followed along branches.

Step by step, flap by flap, they reached their homes safely.
“Benny, you saved us!” the animals cheered.
“You see,” Benny said proudly, “stars can guide you just as well as echoes.”

From then on, Benny wasn’t the odd bat out. He was the hero who navigated by starlight, and his friends loved him for his silly adventures and shining courage.

The End !
